Rev. Preston Weaver
Senior Pastor

A Retired Ordained Elder in the Horizon Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church, Pastor Preston, affectionally named “Pastor P”, has for over 30 years served at numerous churches in Dallas, Irving, Plano and recently Cedar Hill, Texas. He has also served as Senior Pastor of Kirkwood United Methodist Church, Irving, Texas, Pastoral Counselor and Chaplain at Community Health Services (an outreach health clinic at CitySquare);  Senior Pastor at Central Dallas Church;  Senior Pastor, Southwood United Methodist Church;   Staff Administrator, All Nations United Methodist Church, and Executive Pastor and Outreach Minister at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, where he grew up.

Prior to accepting the call to full-time ministry, Pastor P served in the United States Army (Viet Nam Era Veteran) and was honorably discharged after achieving the rank of E-6; Administrator and Educator for the National/State Leadership Institute on the Gifted and the Talented and Ventura County (California) Schools; a Human Resource professional for the Dallas Market Center, Dr. Pepper/Seven Up Company, Foxmeyer Drug Company, Perot Systems and Brinker International.

Pastor P is a strong proponent of social justice and served on boards of numerous boards for agencies committed to transforming the lives of children, youth, the poor and disenfranchised in the United States and Brazil. Pastor P graduated from Booker T. Washington Technical High School, earned his undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education from Huston-Tillotson University, Austin, Texas; Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University; and studied Educational Psychology at the University of Southern California and the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.

Pastor P is married to Barbara J. Weaver, and they have raised four children and six grandchildren.

 
 
 

Kenton Kravig
Music Minister

Kenton Kravig was led to Grace Church in August 2024 after 40 years of Music Ministry in the Catholic Church. Raised in a family of Church Musicians, the songs of our faith have always played an integral role in his life and his journey of faith. Kenton is passionate about creating powerful worship experiences in which music and language work together to change hearts and minds, and even save lives through the divine gift of music.

Kenton spent his childhood in Lacombe, Alberta, Canada, and Caldwell, Idaho, before his collegiate studies in Walla Walla College, WA (Piano Performance), and Southern Methodist University (Organ Performance). He sang with and managed Orpheus Chamber Singers for 22 Seasons and now manages Voices of Change Modern Music Ensemble in his spare time. Kenton has been married to David Williams from Fort Worth since August 1988 and counts him as his greatest earthly blessing.

 
 

Paul Ott
Administrative Assistant

Paul and his wife Janan joined Grace in 2016 and have been active members ever since. Paul frequently helps as an usher and Janan is a member of our Leadership Board. Paul’s career was primarily in the financial services industry, including senior management positions at several institutions. He works part-time in our office creating newsletters and bulletins and generally doing what needs done. Paul has six children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild…so far. He was born in Kansas and grew up in California, and he loves visits with family, dogs, playing golf and Janan’s homemade pies.
